Hi folks,
I'm here again writing on my little blog. Don't care about the weird way to write (bloguezito, for example), 'cause in these last days I've been talking and reading so much to girls who live in Portugal, and so I finish being moved to there, and being well contaminated, by osmosis, with their different way to talk.
Don't care also that now this blog starts to be bilingual. As I've said, I've been connecting to people from different countries and, as I can't speak any little word in Spanish, I'm trying to do an english version of it, to these new little friends of mine be able to understand something... besides that doing this I'm also able to practice my english, so my teacher becomes much happy...
This week I've doing a differente thing. Have you heard about the manual knitting machine called "Tricotar"? Actually, it's not a "machine" as you can say, but a kind of combs that match each other, where you put the stitches and knit with up to four little needles, and it makes you able to do four rows per time, so your job becomes much more faster. So I found it that there was one lost in my house (they have been sold for a long time), and I made it "alive" again. Then, in this weekend and yesterday too, I stayed "playing" with it, learning how to operate, as well. And it's interesting! It has a movie and a manual. I've had time just to read the manual, so I was finding it very hard to work with it. The fabric was very closed stitches and very thick, hard. But later watching the movie, I learned how to do in the right way and even new different stitches. And I'm able to say that it worths. Today I saw in the homepage and it's a little expensive, but depending on how much you want to spend, it's cool. Well I started to do a wrap on Sunday and yesterday I've finished it. I did it in about 4 hours. I think it was very fast, and this was because, as I wanted something so light, I did it with just one needle.
Besides that yesterday I was trying to do a new pattern that I've learned (also includes "blocking") in my new friend's site, from Portugal, Filomena... it's the pattern of Fishtail Lace Scarf, very very beautiful. It's not easy to do... I mean, the stitches are simple, but you have to pay attention, 'cause as they are repeated patterns, you can't miss one stitch only...
Well these are the things I had to tell today. I think it's all... wait, I forgot... I'm so so sad, 'cause it looks like this week will be the last week of my honey friend Rodrigo in my company... it didn't remain nobody... who will have lunch everyday with me on Azzure, who will sit beside my desk in empty days and talk about any fool thing, who will spend two hours having lunch with me talking about disarming (and convincing me to vote "yes") and houses to buy or to build, who will hear me complaining about my boyfriend and in the end have the kindness to ask me if I want only grizzle or if I want some advice, and who will talk to me that I'm not a female friend, I'm a male friend (in other words, this crazy boy tells me the things that he tells his male friends!!!)... I will really really miss him... but as they talk around... life goes on!...
Well now it's a little late (note how often I use the word "little") and I'm going to my little house to get some rest and knit a little!... Kisses and see you!!!
